Hmmm..... this site is now many years old and I am yet to write anything about myself. I've found it so difficult to write about me - my Dad taught us the value of humility - something that needs to be put aside when selling!

I am many things to many people; a daughter, sister, mum and wife.

For my clients though, I am the person they have put their trust in to take images of very special occasions in their life. I don't take this trust lightly. I am dedicated to my craft, trained and carry only the best equipment. I am passionate about photography and treat each job like I am the client. (& I have really high standards!)

There is no greater reward than to become 'part' of someones family and I am lucky enough to have photographed parties, weddings and new babies all from the one family!

Sue McLeod was recommended to us by a friend.  After viewing the fantastic photos on her website we immediately booked Sue for a photo shoot.  Sue impressed us from the very first contact we had.  Sue returned our call the very same day and made an appointment that fitted in with our busy schedules. She arrived on time and was extremely organised. The shoot was not only professionally and efficiently done but also really good fun (something we weren't expecting as we both hate having our photos taken). We got married at Ballina in March, 2010. As we currently live in Sydney, we thought it might be difficult to track down a good photographer so far away...but as soon as we saw Sue’s website, we knew we’d found the right person for the job. Right from the start, Sue was personable and very easy to deal with. She took all of our ideas on board and had plenty of great suggestions of her own. On the day of the wedding, Sue was fun, easy and relaxing to work with. She managed to capture our ceremony perfectly without getting in the way of anything or anyone, taking all the photos we wanted. Our daughter Rachael was married on March of this year and we chose Sue McLeod to be the photographer.

This one brought a tear to my eye and arrived on the day of the birth of Rachael & John's new baby girl Sophie!

We’re both a little camera shy and weren’t especially looking forward to lots of photos. But Sue not only made us feel instantly at ease, but seemed to be genuinely thrilled for us and caught up in the occasion (she was a witness after all). Sue took us to some really beautiful spots, where we had such a great time, laughing and smiling and feeling happy, we almost forgot we were having photos taken. I genuinely felt sad when the session was over and we had to say goodbye. Best of all, the photos look fantastic, better than I could have possibly imagined.
